Car Alarms: alarm goes off every 45 mins or so, car alarm installation, alarmtek

Question
I just bought a truck that has an alarm on it. I tried to
find the model and everything and i'm pretty sure its a
compustar but im not sure if thats just the keyfob thing.

anyway, when I arm the alarm everything seems okay until
about 30-45 minutes later the alarm goes off and i have no
idea why. at first I thought someone was messing with it
but I was at a friends house and it did the same thing. so
then I thought maybe when my keys were in my pocket that I
kept accidentally hitting the button. so I parked it right
in front where i could watch it, set the alarm, and went
inside and set the keys on the table so nothing is touching
them. sure enough, the alarm still goes off. typical after-
market horn sound, lights flash, everything.

also, when I shut the alarm up after it goes off again, its
almost like its halfway armed or something. I can go get in
the truck and nothing happens, no alarm no nothing. however
I can't start the truck until I push the disarm button
again.

its really weird and I don't know what to do.

if more information is needed I can try but I looked really
hard to find the brain or w/e and I couldn't so I don't
know the exact model or anything.

your help will be much appreciated!!
