Car Alarms: General installation difficulty, electrical eng, car experience

Hi and thanks for volunteering.
I am considering installing a two way alarm system but wonder how invasive they are into a system that already has an alarm with remote locks.  The car in question is a 2007 Civic EX and would like to consider doing the installation myself.  I have over 30 years of mechanic experience and two electrical eng. degrees.  Foreign and domestic car experience. I really just don't want to have to rip off the dash and door panels to install.  I have not been able to find any instruction sets to see what it takes.  Can you give me some idea of difficulty, disassembly and rewiring that it takes.  Thanks, so much.

That's kind of involved to go into here Russle.

This car is not that difficult to do yourself with
the proper support from your equipment seller.
