Car Alarms: car alarm viper 5900, viper 5900 alarm, dodge ram

i have a dodge ram 2008 6.7 liter diesel i put a viper 5900 alarm on it. The truck want remote start unless i unlock the doors with the factory keypad how can i get around this where i can just use the viper keypad not both?
