Car Alarms: 2001 Nissan Sentra car alarm, nissan sentra, alarmtek

Question
QUESTION: My lock/unlock remote doesn not work in my 2001 Nissan Sentra GXE so I have to open the doors with the key. If I turn the key once, only the driver door opens.  If it is turned twice it poor unlocks all the doors. Lately, even when I turn the key twice, the power locks fail to unlock all the doors resulting in the alarm going off for about a minute when I open the door. This is ridiculous and I need to figure out a way to shut it up until I can go get it fixed. I heard that if you turn off the valet switch it will disable the alarm, but I can't find it.

ANSWER: Please be more descriptive if possible.

"GOING OFF?"

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.

QUESTION: The alarm just goes off as is someone banged into the car or something I can still start the car and even drive away with it still going off. Nothing flashes inside the car, I think the headlights flash too, but I cannot say 100%. It sounds just as if I pressed the panic button on the remote. If I am lucky enough that the power locks decide to work again I can simply put the key back in and turn in and it stops, however if it still doesn't work which is usually the case I just have to wait it out. Also, the alarm not only goes off when getting in the car, but after I park and get out the alarm goes off again when I open the door to get out.

ANSWER: Again, is it horn honking and head lights?
ot a siren and parking lights please?

QUESTION: horn honking and head lights

Answer
That's a bit of a problem here.
Because yours is a "FACTORY" or, OEM
(original Equipment Manufacturer) "alarm/security" system,
then the disabling procedure info for any given
specific vehicle is now deamed to be too sensitive to
publish here (as suggested by ALLEXPERTS administration.!).

So, to comply, as of March,22 08, this service is no longer
part of the volunteer information I can offer for free here at
ALLEXPERTS.com . Specific OEM/FACTORY alarm disarm/disabling
info is now available ONLY at the WIREWERX.

My installation wiring charts provide the proper wire colors,
polarities, and locations to install a keyless entry,
remote start or, car alarm system into any given vehicle,
or if just trying to disarm/disable your factory/OEM system,
there is a link there to get a tutourial on how to do it yourself
for only $2.99.

I hope you can appreciate the legal reasons behind not
providing this info any longer to just anyone who asks
for general consumption. By doing it this way, I'll
get a record of payment and a name/email address as
a stop gap to help prevent any unauthorized disabling of
your system or anyone elses, by a would be car thief!

Please go to the WIREWERX so I can get you the
info you require to fix your situation.

Good luck with this issue.
