Car Alarms: Viper on 97 TransAm, support question, ok thanks

Question
Wife borrowed son's car and something happened to Viper security system.  
Disconnected battery and all reset but the ignition.  Will auto start  but will not
remain on when key is installed.  Was there a kill code she may have pressed
accidentally.  Ignition switch checked out OK.
