Car Alarms: 1998 Mazda 626 alarm goes off constantly, mazda dealership, cpu plug

Question
Hi. I have a 1998 Mazda 626 with a factory alarm that goes off all the time. Sometimes it is just after I lock it. Other times it is in the middle of the night. Sometimes it is when I use the key to open the door. It pretty much happens any time, provided the doors are locked. When it goes off, its lights flashing, horn honking, etc. I brought it to the Mazda dealership, but they said they cannot disable it for me. They won't even try. I am desperate. I will do anything. Its to the point where all my neighbors hate me, and I can't even really lock my car. Any advice you have for me at all would be appreciated. I dont want to fix the alarm, I want to disable it! Thank you so much.

Answer
Okee dokee,
If not inclined to do this
yourself, please take your car to a local car alarm
shop with the following note and have them
diable it...

The factory alarm system disarm wire is
LIGHT GREEN/RED (-) wire located in
the DRIVERS KICK PANEL AT CPU PLUG, @ PIN #8

That will take out the factory alarm all
together.

No problems with the neighbors after that.
:>)

Have a nice evening.
