Car Alarms: plc alarm in my saxo, power shock, hood pins

Question
i just fitted a plc FM alarm simply with just power/shock sensor/sounder connected to test the unit, will do doors and indicators and ignition connectioms later, MY QUESTION IS why does it keep arming itself automatically 30 seconds after disarming?, is it because i haven't connected everything yet or is it a fault....i dont want to connect everything to find out it is a dodgey alarm...please help?

Answer
Finish the installation CW.
It sounds like the default arming of this system is
dependent on the door triggers, trunk(bonnet) or hood pins
be addressed.

In this way, the alarm "sees" the doors are open,
and will not allow the system to arm itself until
the interior dome light goes off in most cases.

Unless the feature settings say specifically that
you can toggle between PASSIVE arming (your mode now)
to ACTIVE (must press a remote button to arm/disarm),
and how to go about that, then you will simply have
to complete the installation to get the desired results.

You still have work ahead of you.
