Car Alarms: 91 Acura Legend LS 4-door OEM Alarm stops ignition, acura dealer, acura legend

Question
I have a 1991 Acura Legend LS for the past five years and have never heard from the Alarm. Shut off car, walked away and alarm goes off. I opened door turning key left to right with alarm on, it stopped on its own after about a  minute.  Put key in ignition, alarm goes off again and car does not start. Tried turning key left to right on drivers side and passenger side; kept triggering Alarm. Disconnecting battery did not reset it either. All other electronics are working. The shop it is in now has no idea and does not have codes for my car. I read one of your forumns and we tried cutting the red/green wire and grounded it to a solid ground. There were actually three red/green wires; we cut one grounded it then probed the other two and grounded them.  Did not work, i have reconnected them and the car is still disabled. It is at least a week till a shop in a nearby town with a suitable computer can fit me in. I live in a small coastal town with one shop and this is out of their comfort zone. It is over 100 miles to the nearest Acura dealer. Do you have any more ideas i can try??????

Answer
The factory alarm Disarm wire is GREEN/RED (-)
at the door locks in the drivers kick panel.
When grounded, will disable/disarm it.

That's all I have on it. if yours does not
react by disarming, then they may be right
about replacing the computer as the car is 17 years
old and parts do wear out or fail along the way.
