Car Alarms: Broken Car Alarm, alarmtek, brain box

I purchased a 2001 Yukon with a keyless entry and auto engine start alarm. The alarm has is completely broken into pieces but there is no name on the remote. How would I find out the manufacturer of the alarm so I can purchase another remote for the alarm?

You'd have to pull the alarm/rem start brain box to determine
that, and that's not always possible if there are no
markings or, identification on it.

But if "completely broken into pieces", then the best
idea is to not rehash the old one, but opt for
a brand new system with 2 fresh remotes.
