Car Alarms: Dead car alarm, cobra 7915, dashboard lights

Question
Hi again, thanks for quick response.

All fuses are checked and found OK. Central locking works by the key. Engine
starter motor is  churning but the engine does not fire. All electrical
components are working, but no dashboard lights light up turning the
ignition key.

Car is immobilized by the alarm.

Fault must be in the Cobra 7915 alarm system. The LED anti-theft warning
light wires (the ones I short circuited) run into the siren. Is there a remote
fuse? I can't even find the control box...

Answer
My best suggestion is to get a car alarm/stereo tech
in there to make the corrections.

An immobilixer or starter kill relay would make
the starter DEAD. No cranking, nothing. Your
issue is the car/master fuses related issue in my mind.

I can't evaluate from here, but I don't think the alarm
will do you any good right now. It
sounds burnt as well.
