Car Alarms: remote starter, resident technicians, remote starter

Question
I have a Prestige Remote Starter and everytime I disarm the the remote to open the door. The alarm sounds when the the doors are open. I have to start the car inorder to silence the alarm. what can I do to make the alarm work properly?

I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
