Car Alarms: automate alarm removal 99 suburban, passlock 2, gm car

Question
I have a 99 surburban and I want to remove the alarm on it.It won't start now because I think the alarm is bad, keep's clicking on and off.HELP.

Answer
If the alarm is sounding a siren,
try restting the alarm using it's valet
overide switch. (see past posings for
procedure). But most installers
know not to put starter kill in a GM
car or truck that has PASSLOCK, as it
would be redundent.

This truck has GM's passlock 2
security system. (www.passlock2.com)
and if the anti-theft words are lit
in the dash cluster, you will need to
reset and bypass it.

Let me know which it ends up being after you
read the research, and check it.
