Car Alarms: prestige car alarm 2 way pager remote, prestige alarm, resident technicians

hi.  
i have a prestige alarm APS596 in my 03 buick century.
the problem i have is with the 2 way pager remote, it locks, unlock and remotes starts the car. but the pager monitor feature doesnot acknowledge or  beeps the status of the alarm. when i press lock, it does lock the car but the icons on the pager dont work. that goes for remote starting also. its starts the car but  it does not alert that the car is on, i dont know if i need a new remote, its like its working as a 1 way remote. any advice would be greatly apreciated.

with this project.

I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.
