Car Alarms: Car Alarm automatially unlocked car doors, acura legend, car doors

Question
I have an Acura Legend 1995 with car alarm already installed when I bought it in 2003.
Here is the scenario that happened many time. I parked my car then locked it using the remote control. Then, the next day I came out it was unlocked. At the first time, I was thinking that by accidence I hit the button which caused the car to unlocked. Then, I was very careful not to touch the remote, but it happened again. For that reason, there was time somebody got into my car then turn it over and stole some of my stuff. Since then, I stop using the alarm to lock the car.
So, my question is what cause the alarm to unlocked through the night?
What can I do to solve this problem?

Answer
It's recieving an unlock signal from something sir.
Could be someone with a simular alarm that will
also unlock your doors in the proximity of yours.
Or it can be that your remote is broken, and sends
out an intermittent pulse when just sitting there.
This can happen from worn parts, button etc...
(happens!)
At this point, I'd replace it with a fresh
system and new remotes so this does not happen
again.

Try taking the batteries out of the remote for a bit and
see if the locks unlock "on they're own". Then
at least you would know if it was your remotes or not.

Keep us informed.
