Car Alarms: 93 Ford Ranger Alarm, remote transmitters, alarmtek

My alarm prevents anybody from starting my truck without first disarming it.  This is great except my remote fried on my last fishing trip.  Is there a way I can easily dismantle the alarm so I can start my truck?  Thanks.
