Car Alarms: viper 5002, shotty, ford ranger

Question
I recently bought a viper system for my 98 ford ranger, when I set the alarm
on full sensitivity and rock the car extremely the alarm does nothing the only
way this alarm goes off is if the door is opened, I was expecting it to be more
sensitive, was I wrong in expecting this or could there be a installation
problem, also the shop which installed this alarm told me it was a bad idea to
install a valet switch because a thief could track the wires quickly and disarm
the alarm.  Have I been taken by a shotty install shop? What can be done to
make the alarm more sensitive if this is normal. I have already paid 500
dollars and am not very impressed so far

Answer
Sorry, but you missed the big
note I left on the ALL EXPERTS web site.
Please don't ask because I don't supply that
service for DEI customers here.

Too many people have been asking
for the service they should be providing,
and that they paid for when spending
the extra money because they wanted "Viper".

It just became too much for me,
so, I won't do they're job here any longer.

But I do understand, and
refer these folks to either my forum
at www.installsupport.com or, I have a
guy at sales@tampacaralarms.com who might be able
to offer some insight. Good guy and he will treat
you right.

Sorry I could'nt be of more
service. Nothing personal, I just
would opt to pass this to those who can
offer you the best assistance.

Good luck.
