Car Alarms: passlock kill switch, 2002 chevy cavalier, chevy cavalier

Question
I have a 2002 chevy cavalier and have been having some trouble getting my car started.  I called AAA and they got it started, however, they aren't sure what they pressed.  Do you have any idea where the kill switch could be?

Answer
2 different things.
Passlock does not have an overide switch.
This would be a GM issue if this is what the
trouble is. It would have shut down
the fuel injectors.

If it's after market, there would be one under
the dash area, but it's likely that if it disabled
the starter, and had a flashing "anti-theft" worded
notification flashing in the dash board, that it
is the factory passlock.

If this is the description, then GM should inspect
it.

Let me know what you discover.

Merry Christmas.
