Car Alarms: silencer alarm system, car radio antenna, range extenders

i do have a silencer alarm system and the range om my remote is poor. you can not lock/unlock the car if you are far away ( about 15yds) you need to be close to the car litterally close about 3 to 5 ft away. i change the battery but still the same. i just got this system around sept this year so its pretty new and i check it there is no antenna just simple black wire hanging. is it possible to connect that wire to my car radio antenna to get a better range if not what can i do? im in a budget right now and i cant afford to get a new alarm. is there an antenna that i can buy for this

Never attatch this to ANYTHING. That antenna should be
set up virtically under the dash as high up as possible
for best reception. And no, there is no range extenders for these systems.

I suggest you reposition the antenna to
see if this helped enough to keep you from getting
another.
