Car Alarms: Lost Alarm Transmitter, car alarm system, replacement transmitters

Question
Hello mate, my name is Nathan. Now, my situation is not very complicated. My question is more of a general knowledge type than a specific problematic one. I 'had' a car. I had a set of keys. On the set of keys i had my cars alarm transmitter (i don't know the exact names but what i used to turn on and off my cars alarm)and, i had my keys(for the car). Unfortunately they were separate. Unfortunately a sequence of events led me to lose my alarm transmitter but not my keys.
Now, every time i went to open my door with my keys, the alarm would sound. I read about some 'valet' buttons and such. What i wanted to ask you was, does every single car alarm system have that 'emergency' button to turn off the alarm?

Answer
Yes sir, most all alarms come with a "PANIC"
mode built into the remote.

Follow the prompts for valet/overide to see if
it applies, but GET THOSE REPLACEMENT TRANSMITTERS!
(at sites like www.keynfob.com  www.autotechs.com  etc...)

That will correct the pesky troubles now happening.

Have a good one.
