Car Alarms: Remote Starter for Acuras, acura mdx 2007, acura mdx

I am trying to purchase a remote starter for an Acura MDX - 2007.  I have no idea which product to buy.  Some seem to be specific for the make, some do not.  Acura dealers do not install the systems, so I'm unsure of who to ask to install the starter and to recommend a type - if it matters?  Would it be better to go to an automotive shop or security system installer?  Any suggestions of where to start would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
