Car Alarms: Preparing to buy a truck alarm, chevy silverado, passlock 2

I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado with a shell on back. The truck only has the standard keyless entry from GM. I am looking for a car alarm that will not only react to tampering and glass breakage but will have a total disabling feature as well. I am not concerned about remote starting or stuff like that but want it to be effective so the thing cant get taken. Other than Ravelco, is there an alarm with a similar secondary key system that is know to be effective. Its been broken into twice already in my driveway. Short of moving, what alarm do you recommend. I heard Clifford has some of the best. Is that still the case? Please help.

Have a look at the ASTRA 777 at www.pagingalarm.com
This truck already has a PASSLOCK 2 anti theft system,
so starter kill is redundent, but for the rest of
the truck and it's contents, this alarm combined with
a motion sensor and a few heavy duty pin switches
will do this job very well.

Not a fan of Clifford/DEI stuff, so can not speak to
they're equipment here.
