Car Alarms: Can I upgrade my compustar 2wssr-AS, resident technicians, alarm starter

Can I upgrade my compustar 2wssr-AS alarm starter with a newer Compustar model without having to redo the wiring?  I can I swap the module - kind of plug and play LOL?

my resident technicians there can assist
with this project.

I unfortunately don't know the
system from Compustar
you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features or trouble shooting
information.

Better to check with a tech
that might.
