Car Alarms: Car alarm (car wont start), oem factory, arcticle

I read your arcticle about the after marcket car alarm. I recently lost my remote to my car alarm. Everything was fine untill I replaced my battery. I then disconected the horn for the alarm thinking everything was fine. Went to start my car and of course the system is doing its job the car will not start. I looked for a fuse can't find it any where. It's not under the hood and I don't see it under the dash. Is there some way I can cut the wire. I saw there is a little button by the fuses in the car but not sure if it a kill switch. Please Help. Thanks for your time

Make, model, & year of the car
is important here, but only if there
is one.

If you read the last postings about
valet overide, then that's suggested here as well.

If it's OEM/Factory, then that's another issue
entirely, but you'd need to determine that.

Try to find a valet switch.
