Motorcycle Repair: honda cr 250, honda cr 250, piston size

how does a piston go in ... 1996 honda cr 250

On the top of the piston is an arrow this will point towards the front of the cylinder ( front wheel )But just to make sure install the piston in the cylinder as indicated by the arrow and make SURE all the ports on the piston and cylinder line up. I have seen them stamped incorrectly. The marking will also tell you the piston size ( standard 10 over etc )
