Car Alarms: LED light always on, intelliguard, panic alarm

Hi, i bought a jeep recently that came with a clifford intelliguard 8000 alarm in it and just recently the alarm stopped arming and the LED light is constantly on  even when im driving.. my lights flash on my jeep when i press the arm button but it doesnt set my alarm.. i even tried opening the door after pressing the button and nothing works.. i tried holding the button down to set off the panic alarm and that works just fine.. im not sure what i need to do! help!
