Car Alarms: Toyota Tacoma, horn sounds, toyota tacoma

Hello!  I have a problem with the factory installed alarm system, not after market alarm, as I've already went to the shop to test it.  My factory alarm keeps beeping, not horn sounds, but just beeping with the yellow lights flashes.  Last night it start beeping again in the middle of the night and I was forced to pull the car in the garage and keep it unarmed there.  Please advise if there is anything I can do on my own, just to avoid costly visits to the dealership mechanics.  Help.  Thanks
