Car Alarms: Remote Start/Alarm Recommendation for 2003 Eclipse, mitsubishi eclipse, alarmtek

Hello,

My 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse was recently broken into, and in the hopes of preventing future incidents, I'm looking to get an alarm system for it.  I'm mostly interested in having some kind of visible deterrent (flashing light or whatever)... not sure if they all have that or not.  I'd also consider a combination remote start/alarm system, but I'm hoping to keep the price reasonable, since I don't anticipate having the car for more than a few years.

I'd appreciate any advice you could give me as to brands and models that would suit my car and situation.
