Car Alarms: How to disarm alarm on 1998 Dodge Caravan, keyless entry system, dodge caravan

Question
I replaced the BCM on my Caravan because the entire instrument cluster was shutdown. It was a used BCM from a salvage yard and was mistakenly sold as being configured for automatic locks, without factory security system. Everything worked perfect until I used the keyless entry to lock/unlock the vehicle at which time the lights started flashing along with the horn blowing and, as I'm sure you know, the Caravan won't start anymore. I signed out the shop manual from a local library and found that there is a white/green wire, Driver Door Switch MUX to the BCM. Is there any way that I could take this wire to ground, or any other configuration, to disarm the alarm and take the PCM out of shutdown mode. Your thoughts will be very much appreciated.

Answer
Here's what MIGHT work...

You will need 2 relays and 2 resistors
as the door lock system is kinda bizarre.

See the caravan door lock system at:
www.relayhelp.com .

That's your system, and it is tied into
the factory alarm. They work in unison.

Now mind you, this is an after market door lock relay
application, assuming the outputs on any given
after market keyless entry system are negative,
going to pin 86 as shown on the relays.

I believe if both pins 86
are permanantly grounded, you might be able
to get around the alarm. In theory. But you will
loose the ability to remotely lock or unlock the
doors.

That's all I have on it.
Hope it applies to yours.
