Car Alarms: RKE module installation, module switch, head quarters

Question
I'm trying to install this into my '02 4x4, 4DR Blazer:
http://www.commandoalarms.com/CS30manual.pdf

It's replacing this(RKE-845):
http://www.crimestopper.com/techweb/InstructionBooks/Alarm/cs845_855_1_ins_ops.p...
I'm don't know if the old module worked or not, but the only wires it had to connect to the new module were:
10-pin socket: RED, WHITE, BLACK, GREY

3-pin socket: BLUE, RED, GREEN for lock switches:
http://www.commandocaralarms.com/powerlockpos.asp?

I could connect all the wires into the new module except the RED wire from the 3-pin(the new CS-30 plug didn't have a RED wire to splice, only blue and green).

I got it plugged in, it appeared to program and the internal module switch would activate but the solenoids would not cycle the locks(basically, doesn't work). All I need is the RKE function. Is it because of the RED wire that's not hooked up? Sorry to ask, but I couldn't test the red wire, I'll have to buy some specialized parts for it.  Thanks!
