Car Alarms: 2003 Ford F-150, ford f 150, valet mode

Question
QUESTION: I have a Ford F-150 and every time I start to crank it the alarm goes off, it started this after I had to jump it off the other day and soon as I hooked the cables to the battery my doors locked and the keys was in the truck so I had to breask in.I need to know where I can locate / and which wire I need to ground to disarm the factory alarm.
thanks

ANSWER: Please tell me what you are experiencing.

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.

QUESTION: It is the parking lights, tail lights flashing and the horn blowing, and after I start the engine the alarm goes off for about 2-3 min. and stops but after I kill the engine and start it back it goes off again.

ANSWER: It's an after market system from your description.
Probably dealership installed when
it was purchased originaly.

To start, look under the dash area for a button or,
a toggle switch. When you locate it, turn on the
ignition key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.=VALET/OVERIDE

This stops the alarm except for the keyless
entry if installed. The next step is to
either remove the alarm or, try to identify,
and get new remotes for it.

But once in Valet mode, it will allow the car
to start and operate like there was no alarm at all.

Let me know how it goes.

QUESTION:  I talked to the dealership and they said it sounded like it as went into theft mode and said try turning the key off and on till the door locks go up and down but that did'nt work. It does have the word "theft" flashing also

Answer
Let's try the following:
normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
DARK GREEN/VIOLET |- negative polarity|
located in the drivers kick panel
coming out of the door.

Once Located, splice into this wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the OEM alarm functions entirely.

However, at this point, this car would be exceedingly
easy to steel, so I suggest you get an aftermarket
alarm system to protect it from here on in.

Have a good day.
