Car Alarms: car alarm, dodge advenger, valet mode

I have a 1995 Dodge Advenger with a factory alarm and every time the door is opened the lights blink for the alarm the battery was dead and we had to jump it since then this has been happening what could it be and how do i stop it

from your description and it may be in
overide or "valet" mode.

If you have remotes, try to identify it
and go to the manufacturer if possible to
see how to trouble shoot it.
