Car Alarms: How to activate the sound, fcc id, 2007 toyota tacoma

I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma.  When I arm the truck it doesnot make a noice (honk or a beep) to indicate it is armed.  Same with disarm too.  I would like to connect this to the horn.

If it's a factory keyless, I have no idea.
If it's after market, it would have a siren.
So, best to determine what it is first.

If it says Toyota, call the service department
to ask for the capabilities it has. I don't
know what they are limited too.

If after market, the parking lights may flash
to notify you that the keyless opened or closed
the locks. Might panic too if you held down one
of the buttons.

Using the FCC ID on the back of the remote,
go to www.keynfob.com and see what it is you have there
and then follow through by contacting the manufacturer
for the info needed.
