Hi, I have a Toyota Carina E Cd with a factory fitted alarm, recently if the alarm is triggered the siren is very quiet. The alarm works as normal its just very quiet. Can you suggest any solution to this bearing in mind i don't have an alarm reset key.

  This sounds like either a water logged siren head,
which would "warble" and mute the siren sounds, or there
is a bad ground for it.

I would try to access the siren and first check the
ground wire for it. Then release any water in the
"bell" end of it & completely dey out
if that is a possibilty.

If this does not work, replacement
may have to be considered.
