Car Alarms: Alarm problems after break in, kia rondo, proximity sensor

Question
Despite the proximity sensor alarm beeping (and window stickers... flashing dash light... ect) two yahoos broke the passenger window of my 07 Kia Rondo.  Since that time the proximity and motion sensors no longer seem to work.  The alarm will still sound, but only when the doors have been opened or you try and start the car when the alarm is set.

The alarm is a Chapman with keyless entry, the remote is a two button by Code Systems FCC ID: GOH-FRDPC2002.  I have attempted to locate a model number to try and find an owners manual, but have been unsuccessful.

Does the alarm just need to be re-set in order to be fully functional again or is it that something was damaged during the break-in and it needs to actually be serviced or re-installed?

Thank you with your help, I appreciate it!

Answer
I would have an aftermarket car alarm shop
inspect and reset of & repair of any unseen damage to
start with. It appears, the sensors were unpluged
or wires cut. You need a technician familiar
with alarms in general at least.

But on the programming, I don't have this
info here as all alarms have differing commands, features and protocals.

Best bet, see a qualified tech
to set it back to your liking, and
make it right again.

Good luck.
