Car Alarms: alarm blowing fuse sometimes, dodge caravan, resident technicians

this question is on behalf of my brother-in-law.
2004 dodge caravan alarm installed by kroma radio for the dodge dealership.
at the begining of this year the alarm started a nasty habit of blowing the fuse and then the horn would go off. at this point the van will not start.
this has happened a couple of times already.
is there any way we can disable the alarm totally since we don't need this headache anymore?
