Car Alarms: alarm, 2005 dodge caravan, dodge caravan

We purchased a 2005 Dodge Caravan with keyless entry and security alarm.  We can't seem to activate the alarm.  The doors do lock and unlock with the key.  Any suggestions? Thank you!

Sorry, I'm the aftermarket guy here.
Factory systems are not something I
keep up on, save for bypassing them for
installation purposes.

I'd contact the dealer you bought it from
for some input on the remote alarm system
right away.

Best way to get the straight answers.
