Car Alarms: alarm problem, toyota 4 runner, alarm features

Question
Bought a used Toyota 4 Runner with an aftermarket alarm system.Its a 2004. Have no fobs or manual for the alarm. All I know is on the dash below the steering wheel is a small device with a blue light that flashs on occasion. The alarm has been activated a couple of times when we have opened the doors or tried to lock or unlock the doors using the power door lock toggle.
How do I disable the system so this won't continue to happen? Since we have no fobs or manual we don't want to use the system

Please try to locate the valet switch
to overide the alarm.

If you would read some of the previous
posts I made on this subject, you will
see the procedure to toggle into and out
of valet/override mode. It allows
you to set and reset the starter kill mechanism
as well as all other standard alarm features.

This should also apply to yours.
