Car Alarms: Nissan Primera 2000, nissan primera 2000, valet service

Question
I recently purchased a used 2000 nissan primera se td 2ltr and was only given the spare key. I was wondering how i could prevent the alarm constantly going off everytime i open the car, the horn and indicators go off everytime the door is opened, I've tried locking the doors manually from the inside, and there is a button located by the handbrake but I am not sure what it is for?

Answer
Understood. Let's try to put it into valet/service mode,
and try to reset the alarm to disarm and stay that way.
First, turn on the ignition
key, then press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating
(90% of after market alarms will disarm this way).
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.

At this point. the alarm would have reset.
If it had a starter kill relay installed,
the relay would now be opened, and the engine
would turn over when tried.

It will then stay disarmed until the steps
are repeated, to go back to user mode if desired.

Let me know if it works for yours.
