Please could you help. I bought my 1993 Toyota Corolla some two years ago and did not get any remote only door and ignition keys. I'm aware it has a factory fitted alarm but i have never used it. Last night i went to start the ignition and couldn't and then out of nowhere the alarm started going off for the first time. Please can u advise as the ignition won't start at all and the siren keeps going off everytime the doors are opened, thanks, YD, UK.

Please try to locate the valet switch
to overide the alarm.

If you would read some of the previous
posts I made on this subject, you will
see the procedure to toggle into and out
of valet/override mode. It allows
you to set and reset the starter kill mechanism
as well as all other standard alarm features.

This should also apply to yours.
