Car Alarms: dodge avenger factory alarm or not, dodge avenger, factory noise

i bought a 1995 dodge avenger a few months ago, today i got out the drivers door and then opended the passenger door and the horn went off the lights were flashing, i didn't know it had an alarm. the used car dealer didn't either cause i called them.  i have no remote to it, the way i turned it off was by turning the key in the driver door.  Is this a factory alarm and how can i get a remote to it, or is it an after market alarm?

Yep, that's a factory noise generator, headlight flasher,
and that, is how you turn it off.

The trouble here is that this alarm is part
of the factory keyless entry, so unless you
plan to NEVER lock the doors, you either use
the key that way, get a factory remote programmed
at the dealership for your car, make & model ($$$)
or, get an aftermarket keyless entry and install
it for about 100.00 that will disarm the factory
alarm when you go to unlock the doors automatically.

Those are the options.
