Car Alarms: Keyless Entry in a 92 Accord DX, honda accord dx, keyless entry system

Question
QUESTION: Im looking at buying a keyless entry system for my 92 honda accord dx but im not sure what kind i should get. Im looking at ~$100 or less but i would entertain up to $125. I am also looking for an installation guide preferably one that is very explicit with what needs to be done.

ANSWER: Easy enough to do. This one's really easy.
Have a look at the Micro DLR4HD
or, the ASTRA 50 systems at www.KEYLESSCAR.com
and the wiring info for the car is online
at my site www.HONDASECURITY.com
(see the HONDA ACCORD ARCHIVES button.)

This can be done for around half the cost
you asked for by the way!

Have a great day.

QUESTION: theres only one problem with those, i have a DX 2 door and it has manual locks right now, so i need something with the actuators as well. How difficult is it to install all of these items.

Answer
Takes a bit of finesse. But no sweat.
You need to remove the interior door panels,
locate the door lock stem assemply and fasion
the motors to lock and unlock correctly.
I sell these 2 and 4 door kits here.
(29.95 and 49.95 respectibely).
You would then add the keyless
entry DLRHD or ASTRA 50 once installed,
to make them powered and remotely controlled.
