Car Alarms: 1996 Isuzu Trooper, isuzu trooper, factory security

Question
I have a 96 Isuzu Trooper that at times refuses to start.  I have had it in for repairs several times, including to a dealership and no one can locate the problem other than saying that the factory security system is causing the car not to start.  Could you please advise me on how to disable the factory security system in this trooper, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much,
Tom

Answer
Normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
orange/black |-|
Located in the drivers door harness or the
at the factory alarm. If equipped with factory
alarm, the module is behind the left kick panel.

Once Located, splice into this wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the alarm functions entirely.

However, at this point, this car would be exceedingly
easy to steel, so I suggest you get an aftermarket
alarm system to protect it from here on in.

Have a good day.
