Car Alarms: autopage alarm signal problem, 2002 toyota camry, isopropal alcohol

Question
I have a 2002 toyota camry with a autopage RS720 installed, i haven't had any serious problems until today, my remote isn't able to transmit the signal to unlock or lock the car, i replaced the battery to make sure that wasn't the problem but the same thing occured. I just kept pressing buttons to try anything i hit the unlock& lock button at the same time, and it finally worked, but right afterwards it did the same thing again and didn't work, then i had to keep doing that process, but when it decides to work its really  slightly delayed.
I am bringing my car back into the shop to have some corrosion taken off my battery even though its only 4 months old, im thinking maybe thats blocking the signal, i think the corrioson comes from the sounds i have hooked up to my battery in my car (subs/amps/and all that good stuff)but i was just wondering if maybe it could be something else other then maybe the small amount of corrision i have on the battery, any clue let me know if not thanks

Answer
Could be a bad remote too.
Take some isopropal alcohol, and
clean the inside and buttons individually.
Might have gunk stuck in there.

If no joy then, you may want to have a technician look
at it. I don't think it's the car's battery though,
if all else is normal.

Best bet is to have a local car alarm shop take
a look. Can't hurt.

I hope this works out for you.
