Car Alarms: reprogramming two GQ43VT4T remotes, ford windstar lx, keyless entry pad

I have a 96 Ford Windstar LX with two TRW inc.3165189, FCC ID:GQ43VT4T, DOC:1470 K763 remotes. They have three buttons: Lock,un-Lock and Panic. These remotes have stopped communicating with my alarm system.  My keyless entry pad works fine - but the remotes don't.  How can I "re-program" them to talk to the alarm system?
