How can i disconnect my 1988 toyota corolla alarm?

Ive charged the battery up and everytime i try and put the battery back on the bloody alarm goes off in my ear and the key fob wont turn it off.

I cant connect the battery properly til its tight on, which i cant do with an alarm going off right next to me.

Help, cheers.

Please try to locate the valet switch
to overide the alarm.

If you would read some of the previous
posts I made on this subject, you will
see the procedure to toggle into and out
of valet/override mode. It allows
you to set and reset the starter kill mechanism
as well as all other standard alarm features.

This should also apply to yours.
