Car Alarms: 99 Acura tl keyless entry keeps disarming, acura tl, shock sensor

QUESTION: I have another alarm system hooked to the factory alarm and the keyless entry on my acura keeps going off for a few minutes after i closed the car .At times I unlock and lock and then half and hour after it goes off again. Help its very annoying!

ANSWER: What part is "going off", a siren or the car's own horn?
Headlights flashing, or the parking lights only?

Helps me help you. Sounds like a conflict between alarms
that will need a wiring correction.

Answer
It sounds like there is an open circuit
being read, or the shock sensor may be
set too high. Either way, my suggestion
is to run into a local stereo/alarm shop
and have them inspect and reset the system to
your specifications.

That will make the alarm experience a bit more manageable.
