Car Alarms: Python Car Alarm Question, viper car alarm, python car alarm

I have a viper car alarm, it's worked since I had it, but all of a sudden the remote can't notice a connection to my car.  It beeps like it's out of signal, even if I am in my car.  Can't unlock, lock, remote start, or turn on the alarm.  I have a 99 prelude, with it rigged straight to the battery.  I tried  taking out the battery to the remote and putting it back in and it helped to no avail.  I bought the car with Python installed, with it directly linked to the battery.  I tried taking the alarm off the battery and it still goes off when I open my car door.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
