Car Alarms: 98 Maxima Factory Alarm, pin switch, turning the key

My brother has a 98 Maxima with a factory alarm. I assume it's a factory alarm as there is no keyless entry and the alarm is only disarmed by turning the key in the door lock. The alarm goes off all hours of the night and we would like to just disconnect it completely - how do we do that? Thanks very much!

The car is "seeing" a battery drain and reporting it.
There is something on or, an open circuit in the car
that's triggering it.

It can be anything from a dome light on,
to a week or going battery to, a door trigger
pin switch rusting out.

In any case, I suggest you have a car alarm tech evaluate it
for the trouble, and affect repair.
