Car Alarms: problems with alarm, radio harness, radio wiring

I have 2000 grand prix and have all wiring diagrams but im having an issue that concerns me. I recently installed a astra 600. Simple easy install but now my radio doesnt shutoff when i exit the vehicle. Before it did. I dont know what is the cause. Kinda stumped atm.

Interesting. Sounds like there is a constant
source of power being sent somehow to the radio wiring.
Did you go to the radio harness at all in this
installation?

Did you use the "dome light illumination" wire?
Did you use it with or without a relay?

Last thing that comes to mind, please time the radio
shut off now. Run the car, turn it off,
radio is still on. Open and close the door with the
window open and time the radio. Does it turn off
after 1 min.? Does it turn off at all?

Let me know some more info as too cause and effect.
