Car Alarms: Viper Alarm, 2002 lincoln ls, alarmtek

Question
I own a 2002 Lincoln LS and I have the Viper 791XV installed.  The transmitter that I have is damaged due to water.  I had to use my key to unlock the door and the alarm went off.  So I had to dissconnect the battery.  The guys that had installed the valet button did not tell me where they installed it.  Every time I try to connect the batter the alarm goes off.  There are two buttons that I located.  One was inside the car under the dash and the other was inside the hood.  Where do they usually install the valet button?  And I am wondering if there is any way to just completely disarm the whole alarm so that it won't go off when I connect the battery.

Answer
No, As it said clearly
on the site at allexperts.com,
I don't do DEI tech support here.

Please try my forum for
intall techs who do have this
information. www.INSTALLSUPPORT.COM

Or write to:

(PS.)
I will try to make that very
big button on the website
at allexperts.com, a bit bigger &
clearer to understand what I will
and won't provide on that site.

By your simply writing to me about your
Viper issues, or any other DEI questions,
You've pointed out that my efforts were not
working very well to re-direct these questions
elsewhere. The button I made is being ignored
or simply disregarded. Very disapointing.

I will try to make changes for the
next visitor that asks.

Thank you very much.
